For many years the JVFB operated the only ambulance service in Jasper. Now days we have full EMS coverage provided by contract to Associated Ambulance. We also are blessed with having the Parks Canada and the Warden Service to assist us, as they are often first on scene. Parks Canada also handles high angle rescues, swiftwater rescues and backcountry emergencies. Needless to say, with 10,000 sq. km of Park, we all work together! Our primary area of concern is Highway and Transportation related, and we respond to many Highway Accidents.
